"When the rain
Is blowing in your face
And the whole world
Is on your case
I could offer you
A warm embrace
To make you feel my love"

I almost yipped when I felt his body shift close behind me; his hands caressing the bare skin of my arms. He brushed his fingertips up my arm until he reached the soft blonde curls of my hair and twisted a lock around his finger. For a moment I couldn’t talk because it felt as though my heart was going a mile a minute in my throat. I shivered involuntarily when he swept my hair behind one ear and stroked my bare shoulder with the tip of his nose.

“I love you,” he whispered against my skin.

listening to songs like these makes me wonder why i ever stopped composing on the piano and flute….

" He was a major part of your life; of course you’ll miss him; it’s perfectly normal. It’s like getting a tooth pulled out; after the dentist pulls it, you’re relieved. But how many times do you run your tongue over the spot where it once was ? Probably a hundred times a day. Just because it was hurting you, doesn’t mean you don’t notice it. It leaves a gap, and sometimes you see yourself missing it terribly. It’s going to take a while, but it always takes some time. Should you have kept the tooth? No, because it was causing you pain. Pulling the tooth was the right decision, but it’s still going to hurt. "

Traveling somewhere, could be anywhere
There’s a coldness in the air but I don’t care
We drift deeper into sound
Life goes on
We drift deeper
Into the sound feeling strong
So bring it on
So bring it on

I’m gonna cry. These are so precious.

" Most wounds run deeper than you can imagine. You can’t see them with the naked eye. And then there are the wounds that take us by surprise. The trick with any kind of wound or disease is to dig down and find the real source of the pain - and once you’ve found it, try like hell to heal that sucker. "
